The Fiberary

A personal blog about clothes, fiber arts, librarianship, books, and occasional bad poetry.

Some project progress, some flowers, some general activity

Moved on to bobbin number 3 this week! Excited to go back to spinning flax (probably gonna go through the roving first before I attempt spinning from a strick again, and then try to weave with it).

Full and squishy bobbins~

Have been busy this week– helped out with a big library event yesterday and then did some archery practice with the local SCA chapter this morning. It was in a beautiful field of flowers, too–

Chicory
Queen Anne’s lace
Clover
Daisy fleabane?

I’m continuing to pull at least one or two veggies from the garden each day, so luckily it isn’t overwhelming quite yet.

As for the rest of the day, I might finally draft a first attempt at transitional sleeves for my mid-13th century dress. Or I might try to make more headway on that third bobbin. Or both!
