Project planning for summer/fall 2023-revised

So I read an article about structuring my goals by semesters and I am also really behind on doing basically everything I’ve wanted to get done so far this summer. Therefore: I’m changing it a bit.

Fall Semester Goals (Aug. 23-Dec. 3)

  • Learn more about eco printing by experimenting more with it at least three times.
  • Spin 15 minutes a day
  • Once done spinning the yarn, dyeing and knitting socks with them
  • Finish one quilt block per week
  • Journal once per week minimum
  • Finish making holiday gifts by semester’s end

Outcomes Intended

  • Some lovely gold socks in time for the cold months
  • Progress toward having linen yarn to weave fabric with
  • Eco printed fabric for gifts, maybe for next year’s maker’s markets
  • Progress on queen size hand pieced quilt
  • Better mindfulness from journaling
  • To not be stressed about the holidays this year

We shall see how this goes! I like the idea of working toward something and then scheduling a break. (Oh no I think I miss school)

About Me

I am an avid learner of things, maker of clothes (mostly), herder of cats, and hugger of sheep. I’m just trying to eke out a humble little existence in this delightfully weird wide world. Feel free to come along for the ride.
