The Fiberary

A personal blog about clothes, fiber arts, librarianship, books, and occasional bad poetry.

It’s been like a month, oops

In that time I have (mostly) finished two dresses (need sleeve buttons and buttonholes on one of them), one sock (minus weaving in the ends), got started on holiday gifts, and did a lot of dancing.

I’ve also picked up drawing again which I haven’t done since literally high school. Mostly I’ve been doodling cats. One cat in particular. (It’s Obi.)

Bonus hat wearing real life Obi

I can’t help but draw him when his onesie makes it easier to capture the shape of him. Such a cute bean.

Recent punkin Obis

We recently visited family down in SC, which was absolutely delightful and I wish we could have stayed longer. Lots of living creatures and plants outdoors that normally live inside around these parts:

Went to the Channels today, and while we missed most of the leaves on the trees by like a week or so, it was still a wondrous visit (we even got there first, hike-wise, and had the place to ourselves for a bit):

More things have gone on I think? But also my brain is done for the day. Perhaps I will edit this later, but for now it is done.

About Me

I am an avid learner of things, maker of clothes (mostly), herder of cats, and hugger of sheep. I’m just trying to eke out a humble little existence in this delightfully weird wide world. Feel free to come along for the ride.
