Learning more about weaving lately

And there are so many lessons! Like the fact I can’t count, or do basic math, and that I need to take more frequent breaks than I usually give myself when I’m hyperfocused. And also to go slow. The weaving part is always faster, but warping is truly pedagogical in its detailed repetitiveness. There are no shortcuts (at least that I know of or have access to)-just work you can’t daydream during because otherwise your pattern will be wonky.

Anyway, current floor loom project:

Gonna make some sort of clothing article from this cloth

Also have a cuddly sleepy Obi:

About Me

I am an avid learner of things, maker of clothes (mostly), herder of cats, and hugger of sheep. I’m just trying to eke out a humble little existence in this delightfully weird wide world. Feel free to come along for the ride.
