The Fiberary

A personal blog about clothes, fiber arts, librarianship, books, and occasional bad poetry.

About

I am a musician turned librarian (turned musician, again), which means I dabble in entirely too many things. Sometimes I do bookbinding, sometimes I sew, or spin, or knit, or weave (&c &c &c). Baby beginner at 中文 (I keep picking it up and then life keeps preventing me from getting past chapter 9 of my textbook). Three of my five cats are named after Roosevelts. I’m getting into gardening and growing things, and have successfully kept several plants alive for over a year now, which for me is saying something.

I’m queer, AuDHD, and Appalachian.

About Me

I am an avid learner of things, maker of clothes (mostly), herder of cats, and hugger of sheep. I’m just trying to eke out a humble little existence in this delightfully weird wide world. Feel free to come along for the ride.
